I would (and I'm sure many other would) like a tweak that will allow users to use Google Music instead of iTunes Match.
The idea being Google Music is a free alternative to iTunes Match, but essentially the same thing.
Ideally the tweak would seamlessly integrate Google Music into the default iOS Music app. Just like iTunes Match, any music stored on the "cloud" would show a symbol next to it to let you know it will be streamed as opposed to played off of the local storage.
Google Music ALREADY syncs your iTunes library to Googles cloud (via OS X and Windows addons), so we just need the iOS part.
"Why not just use Googles web app or a 3rd party app from the app store?" - Because this solution is a much more elegant one. Both Googles web app and these 3rd party apps perform poorly and/or look tacky. Googles web app will stop playing as soon as the device locks or you exit the browser, for example.... Useless!
I'm sure people would be more than happy to pay a one-off fee for the tweak rather than a yearly iTunes Match subscription.
Thanks for reading,
Chris.

Tweak idea... In case any Devs are looking!

Cant install GApps
Hello. Just looking for a little help...
I recently flashed 4.2.2 onto my device.
Once installed i ran "a2sd install" in terminal.
Then i "installed from .zip" the GApps in recovery.
I reboot... And nothing has installed?
I did have them on and working, but then i decided to reformat and partition my SD card and gave it the full (recommended) 1.5GB of space. Wished i didn't bother.
Any help is appreciated,
Chris.

Speakerphone tweak?
20 March 2013 - 06:15 PM
Hello. I'm looking for a tweak that will allow me to choose whether or not to ignore a dock connection to the iPhone in a call.
At the moment if my iPhone is docked and i get a call, the call will come out of my speakers/car stereo. I want to be able to say, "ignore the dock/stereo and function like you aren't plugged in".
Hopefully that made sense... Any ideas?
Chris.

UI Tweak idea
20 February 2013 - 06:33 PM
Hello, i just wanted to share an idea in hope that someone reads it, likes the idea and decides to transform it into a downloadable tweak!
In iOS 6 there are several different UI "themes" that apple uses throughout the OS. The old school blue, as well as the recently adopted silver and black elements.
My idea...
To have some way of selecting which "theme" is used when the OS/app requests an image. Sort of like spoofing, for example... When the OS/app/whatever requests the blue UI, i can choose what is actually displayed between the several "themes" already built into the OS. So i could tell the OS "when you get asked to show the blue nav bars, what i want you to actually show are the silver ones". Ideally this would be configured in the settings app.
Does this make sense? Is it something that's even possible? To me it makes sense and seems logical, but i don't understand the technicalities behind pulling something like this off.
I really dislike using Winterboard, especially when the OS already carries UI elements id like to use!

Splash screen tweak?
20 February 2013 - 04:52 PM
Hi. I came across a tweak not so long ago that stops apps from displaying a splash screen on launch. The tweak explained that the OS displays an image while an app actually loads to give the appearance of quicker load times. At the time i had no interest in the tweak, but now that i do i cant seem to find it!
Does anyone have any idea what i'm on about?
I want to try it in conjunction with Winterboard to make themeing simpler. All i want to theme are the nav bars (blue bits of UI) and the pinstriped wallpaper/background. I figured if i use this tweak it will save making a lot of images, reducing the theme size and maybe increase performance too?
Cheers,
Chris.
