does anybody know the path to where music on your iPhone would be located in iFile. I want to remove a song or two from my library but I don't want to use iTunes.  can this be done through iFile ?

If i not wrong, first u need MYTUNES to del ipod songs, in cydia u can find it.
Go to var/mobile/itunes_control/music. U can find ur songs there without using mytunes

Yeah the names of the songs will still be there, but when it comes on it just skips to the next song.

It's no longer possible to delete songs from iPhone in iOS7. To remove music:
1) Find a PC/Mac
2) Install iTunes if it is not installed
3) Connect your device
4) Tell your device to trust the computer if it asks
5) Switch over to the device view
6) Browse to your music on the device
7) Delete it
Getting music off isn't as easy as putting it on but the swipe gesture now goes back in menus on which you can get a new interface of iPhone Data Eraser.

Actually it's very simple. Open your music app and slide left on the song like your deleting a message. That's how I do it on a 4s ios 7.0.4.
Hope this helps

I think you can directly delete it using the music app. I also recommend you to delete it with your iTunes. This is much more safer to do. If you lost your music or any other data from your iPhone. It is really hard to recover them no matter you using iTunes, iCloud or any other iPhone data recovery software. Really hard to do that.

While iOS 7 has largely been heralded as successful, it hasn’t been without its issues. A lot of these have been fixed with updates that has subsequently released but there are some who are still complaining of one or two problems. One of these is the inability to be able to delete music from their iPhones running on iOS 7. The normal method on how to delete a song from your iPhone is .

Steps to Delete Songs from iPhone :

1. Open the Music App
2. Find the song you want to delete and swipe RIGHT TO LEFT over it
3. Don’t hold it down as this will just result in the song playing
4. You should see a red Delete box – tap on it and the song should be deleted.

However some methods are recommended for you too:
