Why?  Hardly anyone ever zoomed in and it will save cal bandwidth and storages space.  If you need full res use photobucket or something...

What ever photobucket resizes them too. That seems like a good size.

Don't be an apphole! That's not even HD! At least do as good as TinyPic and limit it to 1600x1600. OR JUST DON'T LIMIT IT AT ALL!!

That is not HD for any device. HD is nothing less than 720p.

And do what math? If 90%, that means a whole lot of 2592x1936 (5MP) pictures. But since 90% of traffic is not iPhones and you're probably talking about screenshots, if 90% of all pics uploaded are less than 1024x1024 anyway, why not just leave it alone?

There's no NEED to shrink the picture size to 1024x1024.
