iPhone 3G Jailbreak->Unlock->Factory Reset Problem: won't boot!
Posted 31 January 2011 - 12:57 AM
ok so i have a iphone 3G, once locked to bell, running 4.1.2 with iPad baseband
i used the new redsnow beta 5 with verbose boot, cydia, homescreen wallp, batt percentage and multitasking, then used ultrasn0w to unlock.
I then had to factory reset (erase all content and settings), and when i rebooted it said i was in "safe mode" and asked me to reboot again. i accepted, and now in my verbose boot i get to a certain point (upon which the last command reads: mancySet Interval Gated : Setting dormancy interval to 2500 ms with mask 0x1700) and it WILL NOT FINISH BOOT! i can get into DFU mode all right, and i tried to re jailbreak with resn0w but it stops when after the jailbreak data is downloaded it is replacing kernel, and i also tried to do a tethered boot wth redsn0w and it wont boot either!
its driving me crazy! [RUN]
PLESE HELP !!! [BOWDOWN]

I think He's rite on this one.
But I guess you could try going into recovery mode and kicking out to see if you boot up normally.
