I been looking all over and found nothing recent . I heard in the past u could use a magicjacks stuff on a iPhone so u can make phone calls . Can it still be done today . I want to know more for use on a iPod touch . Reason I m intrested is because I am getting a mobile hotspot( 2 of them 1 for me 1 for my lady ) 4G only $60 dollars a month unlimited data from a knew company in the us (I live in California ) called clear . I would love to ditch my phone service .

I think magicjack is hardware, it's not magictalk.

You're right there is some history of magic jack and iPhone but the info I could find was kinda old but the comments make it seem like there is still a possibility of it working.

Also to keep in mind if you figure out how to get free calls on Ur iPhone that "clear" aka "clearwire" doesnt have the best service. If your in a major city or suburb you'll be find but if you leave that area welcome to no service.

Yeah I know it won't be to good at first but I do live in Sacramento . I am willing to bet that by June of next year it will be better and reliable . Within a year and half half of my city will be using this and will attempt to do something like what I m doing .

Magic talk actually still works with the iPod I use it regularly on my wifi cheaper then my land line they were in talks about taking away VoIP service with my Internet provider but I believe it varies company to company so you would have to check for VoIP service in your area with your provider.
