I have iphone 3g 3.1.2 BB: 05.11.07 looking forward to upgrade my fw to 4.2.1 and BB 6.15.00
will it just slow my iphone and make it laggy if i update to 4.2.1?
Coz i read before that the ram of 3g devices isnt enough for ios +4.0 and up

There are plenty of people that have their 3G on 4.1. It really depends on what you're wanting to do though. If you're wanting to tweak it to the max with themes and such. You should stay on 3.X.X. But if you're just wanting to keep it simple then upgrade.
