in mobile terminal i just use xxd command......
look up the xxd man page on google....

Midnight commander will let u edit hex. GUI.

xxd is a Unix command it comes with mobile terminal...
just type in xxd then the name of the file you want to see in hex example:
xxd cydia.app
and you will get the hex ,,, unfortunaltly this doesnt give you that ability to edit but yeah midnight commander gives you that option or you could try to use a hex editor on your mac....
SOMEONE needs to port a terminal hex editor to the iphone i would if someone would answer my GCC question in the previous threads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

vbindiff lets you do that. Search vbindiff in cydia. might have to change settings to developer.

Oh, and Rock was aqcuired by Cydia. Cydia is trying to move all the Rock apps to Cydia, but I can't find midnight commander anywhere.

Change your settings to developer in Cydia It's in Terminal support I believe.
