I have an iPhone 4 5.1.1 (9B206) Firm 04.12.01 that is part of ATT. I used Absinthe v2.0.4 (Win) and ran as admin but when the window opened to hit the jailbreak button I could not press it and could not jailbreak. What can be the problem followed all directions except backup iTunes because I don't have an iTunes account. Any help would be much appreciated.

on my cousins iphone4,its took me about 5 or 6 tries before i got it working right.it tells u though to unplug it and plug it back in then it should restore the jailbreak process where it left off but wen ur phone goes to the restore screen then ir good

I've never used absinthe, but if you can try redsn0w, I never have a problem with that.

I tried redsn0w just a few days ago and everything was wine and was uploading on my iPhone 4 but when it was done it wouldn't sync with iTunes and the phone was at the set up screen and said no sim card choose language. I'm so frustrated that I don;t know what to do. Do I have to restore the iPhone and restart redsn0w or did something happen or is this part of the process?

I tried several times but the jailbreak button would never work never recogonized the iPhone or something

If you tried absinthe and if that doesn't worj you go and try redsn0w do you have to restore the phone back to factory default before starting the new jailbreak? If yes how do you factory restore without sim card?

Yeah that happens with some phones when you jailbreak. I remember there is something to fix it. It's like..
When you are going through the setup process, make an emergency call then hold the power button down. When it brings up "Slide to power off" click te home button then click end call and it should take you to home screen. I think that's it. Not 100% sure

And if absinthe didn't work, I wouldn't think you would have to do a factory restore?
If so I'm pretty sure you can connect your iPhone to iTunes then put it in DFU mode then click "R" or something and it will ask if you are sure if you want to restore or something.

if absinthe or redsnow dont work then sorry no luck.should try and check if snowbreeze came out with a 5.1.1 jailbreak but i not sure if they did.doesnt hurt to check if the last 2 jailbreak tools dnt work for u

My iphone is jailbroken but it is locked on tre network, i also use ultrasnow but it is not working, my iphone is 5.1.1& modem is 4.12.01, can anyone tell me how i unlock my iphone

cant unlock yet,just jailbreak.i dont think anybody is working on unlocks anymore.last unlock was by appleberry (gevey sim) but only worked for the 4s
