All of a sudden my iphone crashed into safemode then I switched back to reg mode n all my txt/sms msg history is vanished! both on iRealsms 3.0 and on native msg app. This is the second time this is happening and I'm strongly suspecting irealsms for this mess. The backup feature on irealsms isn't working either. Deleted irealsms still no luck. I really don't want to restore again. Any way to restore or fix this please help!

Not sure...I always use bitesms and it doesn't mess with your messages - even on a crash. I always thought ireal was kinda buggy. If your history is starting over chances are you need to restore your phone to try to recover them.

You could probably SSH into your device and find your SMS files. Have you tried a reboot after you removed iRealSMS?

Try holding down an icon until they all start to jiggle. This always makes my messages app reappear

My messages app is there, just my history(content) is gone. I tried your suggestion nevertheless. Still blank, any more ideas?

This was happening to me. I synced my device with iTunes, then deleted Appsync, synced again, reinstalled appsynce, then synced one more time. I was originally doing it so my Installous games would show up in iTunes, but it fixed my problem with losing messages. If that doesnt work, the try iFile.
