After jailbreaking my gf's ipod touch all the stock apps like camera,photos,youtube, imsge, facetime, and all the utility apps are gone.. I tried restoring but itunes could not allow it.. Any help?

I would first reboot to see if they come back. If not, I would restore, or you could try rejailbreaking maybe. What firmware are u trying to jb? You can't restore to 5.0.1 without having SHSH blobs saved and a custom fw with ifaith. 5.1.1 is tethered but will be untethered within the week. You should be Abe to restore to 5.1.1 no problem.

Are they gone or maybe just hidden for some reason? I assume you've tried a spotlight search already? If they don't show up in a spotlight search I would assume you might need to restore. What error is iTunes giving you on your restore attempts?
