Sony said once that they will disable your Playstation Sevices if you jailbreak which means no online.

Just because it plays games doesn't make it a games console. If you called a PC a games console you'd be shot by every PC gamer, and every PS3 and 360 owner with a grain of knowledge about gaming.
Also, you can play tetris and snake on some fridges and toasters while you wait. Does that make them games consoles too? O_O

So? That doesn't change anything about the situation. People are bitching about their gaming consoles online games being hacked. You can also play ios online games. I give 0 ****s if people are banned for hacking online games. it's just that it should not be illegal to run whatever code you want on the hardware you buy.
