I think so. It's still gonna break your jailbreak. It's probably easier than iTunes though.

You're fine to upgrade direct, however you're best to do a blank restore.

I am still on 4.3.3 on my iPod. For those that are still jailbroken on 5.0.1 just stay there, it really doesn't matter. Well unless you really want to upgrade, other than that why fix what isn't broken...

If you try and update OTA, think you just get a pop-up saying "Software Update Failed. An error occured downloading iOS 5.1." (If Jailbroken of course)
