Nope. My heart is still set on the $299 Transformer from Asus with Tegra 3 and ICS. It might not be retina and it might be a little thicker and a little smaller display but kicking out $500+ for a tablet.that can only run apps isn't worth it.

Already pre-ordered mine. Will be my first iPad. I'm just getting the wifi version though. Don't really foresee a need for a cellular connection, even if it is 4G, plus it's an extra $30/mo at least for the 2GB option. If needed, I'll probably just use MyWi on my phone to tether.

Honestly, I think any user with an iPad 2 would be wasting their money on an upgraded iPad. As for users with the 1st generation like myself or maybe with no iPad at all, this 'new iPad' is definitely a good buy.
