You have to pay $99 a year to subscribe to the developer program, Apple takes 30% of your royalties for your paid app. So most likely you would lose money putting an app in appstore. The only possible way you would not lose money is if you create some blockbuster app like angry birds. Why do people bother submitting apps to the app store if you lose so much money doing it? What puzzles me even more is why people would create free apps in the app store?

You get 100 UDID. Plenty of people looking to get this registered. Assuming you are a small vendor, you could sell 75 UDID each for $2 and your cost is covered.
Now if you have a good app, people are gonna bring in money.
Small vendors can always sell udid's

By selling udids, do you mean like selling liscences to use the apps? As far as I know udids are numbers used to identify your device. I don't see too many apps in app store that require subscriptions. Elaborate more on how selling udids work.

UDID registrations. Basically having a phones UDID registered means you can install beta iOS like before it has been released. Plenty of people look for UDID registrars right before an iOS launch. I think having your UDID registered also means you can run Xcode apps on your device without paying the $99 to get a developer account.

When someone buys an app, you don't lose 30%. You gain 70%. The 30% is money you never would have had in the first place had you never submitted your app to to the App Store. The only money you lose is the $99/year, and if you don't sell enough apps to cover that $99, you aren't making enough money to bother wasting your time making the app anyway.

Well , any smart person will think why apple give 100 slots ? They want people to sell it , but they show up as fighting it . Atleast that's what I think

That's not even close to true. Why does Apple give you 100 UIDIDs?
Simple Apple is like every company and wants to make profit. You can't really make profit out of small unkown Apps.
The developer program is aimed for larger companies actually needing those 100 devices for testing. Apple does in no way intend for you to sell those.
Most likely you'll lose money if you keep it legal.
