So , I'm trying to make a package that adds some custom ringtones for WhatsApp , so to add them you must edit pushsounds.plist and add the tune in caf format , the problem is I've done that already but when I apply with winterboard ( Folders -> WhatsApp.app ) it doesn't work , the plist file isn't working , the one in the package I mean , is there a way to fix/solve this ?

I've moved this thread to the Hacks section where it'll hopefully fit in better and people here might be able to give you some advice as it's hacking to a certain extent.
Also, I renamed the thread to be more descriptive if that's okay.

try renaming the ringtone that you want with one of the existing rigntone names...
1.- Find with ifile the whatsapp.app folder in /User/Applications/{x-x-x-x-x}/ <- browse each folder until you find WhatsApp.app
2.- Paste custom ringtone
3.- Rename an existing ringtone (ex. Boing.caf to BoingBackup.caf)
4.- Rename custom ringtone to Boing.Caf
5.- Select the "new" Boing ringtone in whatsapp and should be the sound from your custom ringtone...
it worked for me..

I know that, but I want it to be a package that you download from Cydia. I don't know how to do that. Tried Winterboard thinking it may work like UI sounds but didn't work.
