I saw the trailer or whatever for that iFactory documentary. It looked pretty cool being able to see exactly how our shit gets made. When and where can i watch the full thing?

From watching that I really think Apple should pay the extra to have their wages doubled. For that entire room with double the wage it'd only set them back £2000 an hour.

Why should apple pay anymore? They go to a supplier to avoid all the moral shit. As far as im concerned, wages, working conditions ect are foxconn's responsibility and no one else's. If they accepted to a deal where they cant afford to pay their workers "correctly", then thats their fault. I really dont see where apple comes into things with the questions raised.

My Dad works for a company where sometimes outside inventors or engineers ask the company he works for to manufacture a product. If my dad had shit working conditions and poor wages, thats his employers fault, not the person/company/whatever that requested the product to be manufactured.

The only reason this exists is because a lot of people just like to hate on apple. Look at the iPhone 4 with the antenna problem, that got blown WAY out of proportion. It got a ridiculous amount of coverage on all forms of media. Yet the HTC sensation just drops signal completely for no reason, did you even hear about that? The only reason i heard was cause a friend of mine had one and was complaining, so we googled it.

It might only be horrible for you because everything works differently in China to where you live. Every culture and system has it's benefits and down falls. Just because you as an individual might not see them, thats not to say there not there.

Yea because im sure all of them love to love with 10 other people, work 12 hour shifts and get paid next to nothing. I say that's a win for them.

not really. 6-8 people make more than their rent in two days since there are 6-8 in a room. Also realize that they only get one room and share a bathroom with a lot of others

I live in America and I've lived with 12 people at one time. And I don't see what's so hard about sharing a bathroom.
