As already thought, the Samsung Galaxy S2 suffered only minor scratches on the plastic. Glass still 100% intact.
The 4S on the other hand.
I dont think you can ever sell it again.
Back and front completely shattered. And the sides scratched.

See the video.

if you want a rugged phone, look at the land rover phone or something similar.

You obviously cant find a better way to say ''High im an Apple fanboy, and i just have to say something so Apple looks good''.

It sucks.

Even the Motorola zoom vs galaxy tab vs ipad2 video shows how bad Apple is.
From waist high, apple 2 is dead. Zoom is half dead and tab wins (But its smaller so it doesnt compare) Zoom is winner for me.

Apple just is cheap made items, made looking expensive. And sell it like its expensive.

Phones of these days, that small and light.
You will always drop them. If you dont you are lucky, but sure you will drop it sometime.
Even from waist high iphone is just done with it.

Imagine you are drunk, getting to bed. Saying a last goodbye message to your girlfriend and you sudden fall asleep.
If your phone falls of you when youre sleeping.

Iphone is dead

Samsung isnt.

I prefer having a powerfull and fast mobile, with a good screen that doesnt break or scratch.
And also for cheaper price.

Then an item that is breaking easely, gets scratches fast.
And also is expensive.

Plus the phone is ugly to.

no. anyways, since when has whether or not you can drop your phone been regarded as a spec? it the same as all of those idiots saying screen size is a spec. its not, its a personal preference. theres only really 2 specs you can consider with a display, thats pixel density and colour representation. it seems people like you need to consider litterlly anything as a spec to make your devices look good at all.

Want to hear a spec?

I can encrypt my SD card
I can ENTER an micro SD card
I can use Flash
I can get more types of phones with the same OS or brand.
I can easely mod my phone
My phone has a faster browser rate
My phone has better CPU
My phone has a total of 64gb inside, and 32gb micro sd= 96GB
My phone can play awesome games you cant do (Your phone cant run them)

Want to hear more?

I CAN USE FLASH
O wait i already said that, but i just have to put it in your face!

Ow btw, did you see the commercial from samsung pouring into apples face yet?

And btw, wich brand is making a quad core phone, wich Apple doesnt?
Hmm yeah.

And you like your 3.5 inch screen right?
Soon it will be the 4 inch you dislike, now what?
Changing your view of that really fast so you wont be seen as an apple fanboy?

Ow btw, im going to Russia soon where it is -28 degreese.
In the Netherlands it was for 1 day -27 degreese.

And you know what?
Iphones stopt using correctly. Sim card not entered issues. Battery issues.
One didnt even wanted to start.

Other phones worked great.

And according to an official test:
What Do Manufacturers Recommend?

Posted ImageImage: Courtesy of Instructables.comAccording to Apple, its iPhones can be used only in temperatures between 32 degrees to 95 degrees Farenheit. In other words, an iPhone user taking his device outside in typical Scandinavian winter conditions will do so at his own risk. If the phone breaks down, Apple claims it will not be responsible and the damage is not covered by the phone's warranty.
HTC and Nokia do not mention operating temperature guidelines in user manuals or on their websites. Samsung, on the other hand, guarantees its phones to function in temperatures between -4 degrees and 122 degrees.

First Fail: Apple iPhone 4S

At 32 degrees, it was business as usual for all the phones. At 23 degrees, the iPhone 4S and the Nokia N9 started showing symptoms: The iPhone reported a sim card error, and the N9 claimed its battery was nearly empty.
Lowering the temperature to 14 degrees was more than the iPhone could handle. The Apple device suddenly announced a dead battery and shut down. (All phones with LCD displays in our tests experienced difficulties when the temperature dropped below 14 degrees.) AMOLED displays proved to be able to stand cold much better and kept working at that temperature.

The Cheaper, the Better?

In our tests, the majority of smartphones couldn't handle temperatures ranging from 5 degrees down to -4 degrees. Even if the phones managed to stay powered up, most died when put to actual use.
Feature phones, which are less complicated than smartphones, did better. Apart from slow display reaction, the feature phones we tested showed no symptoms until the temperature dropped to -13 degrees. By the time that temperature was reached, most smartphones were completely useless.
We were surprised to find that Samsung smartphones outlasted Nokia's touch-screen devices. Only one of the smartphones we tested kept running smoothly when the temperature reached -22 degrees: The Samsung Galaxy S II.
Even if Korean engineers don't face sub-zero temperatures as often as their Finnish colleagues, they've managed to design a better smartphone for such conditions. The Galaxy S II didn't shut down until the temperature reached -31 degrees. And until that point, there wasn't even a hint of slowness when using its display.

The Breaking Point for All Phones: -40 Degrees

The ultimate cold temperature for the smartphones we tested was -31 degrees. Even the most persistent smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S II, shut down when we tried to use the phone at this temperature.
None of the other tested smartphones could stand such extreme conditions. But some feature phones did work at -31 degrees, even though their LCD displays showed serious slowness. But when the temperature dropped to -40, no phone in either category survived. Even the toughest ones shut down.
The two phones that survived the longest, both feature phones, were an inexpensive Nokia C1-01 and a five-year-old Nokia E65, which was one of the devices we chose for comparison purposes in the tests.
These two phones may not be equipped with high-end touchscreens, but they worked. Nokia engineers appear know what they're doing on these phones: The coldest temperature reached in Finland almost every winter is -40 degrees.
Here is a chart showing how each phone did. Note: The temperatures in this chart are in Celsius, not Farenheit, but the relative standings of the phones in the two aspects of our testing is interesting:

Chris just shut up. I made my point wich you cant break.

I stil don't get why everyone compares their device to the iPhone? If you think the iPhone is such a bad device, stop comparing everything to it.

For example if you google "galaxy s2 fails", 4 of the top 6 results (that's 66.6%) involve the iPhone. Why?
If you google "iPhone 4s fails" you don't get results about the galaxy s2.

If Apple sucks so much, why are you always talking about them? AOL sucks, why not talk about them?

The thing I notice is, Android owners talk about the iPhone more than iPhone owners. Get over it, it's just a device. Apple is just a company.

This is the other mobiles section, not the compare a device to the iPhone section. Stop talking about the iPhone in here, thats what General iDiscussion is for.

Damitch you are seriously dumb.

Wow google must be paying you a lot to pull bullshit out of your ass. iPhone 4S doesn't have any issues. All the bugs in iOS 5 was quickly found and fixed.

Have fun with your quad core battery eating lame processor. Half of it is probably trying to go through all the java crap on your phone.

You are really lame to think your phone is superior because it can run some lame games from the 80's. Guess what? move on. I'm happy with all the graphically intensive games on my iphone.

Herp derp my android has teh hardcore games. herp derp im ****ing retarded.

Yeah. Enjoy your piece of plastic.

@channan I don't think so

@apple I don't even own an android ::) My first computer/device was an iPod nano then my second was an iPod touch. I've just had an unbiased look at iDevices and Android and decided that there are many cases where Droids are better.

I look at Android and iOS as equal, both have their ups and downs just like every other ****ing thing in this world. I don't get why every Android user compares their phone to the iPhone, if the iPhone is the basis of comparison, how can it suck balls? Why does every Android user always use the argument "Who has quad core?" The iPhone doesn't need quad core, yea it would be nice and have some godly speed but it doesn't need it. You can play some older games on your phone, sweet deal, who the **** cares. Saying all the iPhone can handle is Angry Birds HD and your phone can play Modern Combat 2 and 3, THOSE 2 GAMES ARE ON THE IPHONE TOO YOU DUMBASS, and they play extremely well. I'm not arguing for the iPhone here, just pointing out the flaws in your argument
