i have a 3GS with iPad baseband an was jus wondering, if I click on restore, will my baseband be safe?

You cannot restore the traditional way. You have to use redsn0w.

Yes you need to preserve your baseband if you plan on unlocking again

It's in the extras section. It'll be like create custom ispw or something. Basically you'll create a custom ispw, and then restore in iTunes with the custom ispw you created

Man i am getting errors, 2009 and 1600s :(, does it have anything to do with a server issue? or tinyumbrella?

WHAT DA FUK??? i did it again and itunes says the phone will be restarted then after that message it goes back to recovery mode

disable "set hosts to cydia" in tiny umbrella, or manually remove the entry yourself. im not sure if you need to run the tiny umbrella server aswel. id try without first.

THat "set hosts to cydia" option is unchecked. I will try the tiny umbrella server starter. how do i remove the entry manuallly?

go into your hosts file and remove any lines that mention gs.apple.com, or something like that haha. you'll see it/them. just delete the whole line/s and save the file.

Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and locate the hosts file.

If this line is included remove it: 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com

Also have you tried tiny umbrella's option to kick out of recovery mode?

Also are you using pwned dfu mode (like in the instructions) to load the firmware?

Like a million times, im gonna try the host thing now, btw the restor process is completing but when itunes says the phone will restart at factory settings, the phone just stays off and then the restore iPhone option pops back up
