What ones do you use, besides the native browser, Safari? Particularly on your iPhone or any iDevice. I don't know very many, just Skyfire and Mercury Pro. Mercury is great, but are there better ones? Especially for jailbroken iPhones.Thx.

I like Mercury on the iPad although Safari on iOS 5 is faster. IChromy is good for iPad too (it's been renamed to something like Dingo?). I've used Opera Mini on iPhone partially because when I have to use EDGE it was faster. I don't use it much anymore because again I think iOS 5 made Safari faster on iPhone too.
On desktop I use Firefox almost all the time. I love the tons of add-ons I have installed. I'll use Chrome if I am lazy and don't feel like waiting the extra second for Firefox to open, but then I get irritated and open Firefox anyways lol.

I've tried a bunch. Dolphin, iCab, Mercury, Atomic, Dingo, Opera, and a few others. They all suck. A lot have some really awesome features but they all run like crap. None can fully replace Safari for me.
I use Dolphin for websites that force their mobile site on you and don't let you use the desktop version (like Gizmodo) but other than that, I stick to Safari. But if you're jailbroken, you can just use UA Faker, Safari Download Manager, and Upload Enabler to get some of those features other browsers offer in Safari.

I use Safari and like Channan use Dolphin for desktop viewing. I've tried iCab, Atomic, and Mercury, although good, they feel too heavy (at least on my ancient 2g lmao) so I just stick with Safari cause it runs the best. Since you are jailbroken I suggest getting some addons for Safari.
On my computer I use Chrome, I've tried Firefox but it's eh, I don't use much addons, mainly just bit.ly and adblock, and Chrome runs real good, pretty light, love the UI.

If you are on a strict data allowance or have the annoying "Safeguard" features such as Orange use, then Opera is the way forwards as all data is compressed and encrypted through their proxy server and allows you to bypass the filters and save space.

Good points safari does feel smoother. Thanks Channan I'm going to download those tweaks now. I got unlimited data btw.

safari is the best one. just download adons for it in cydia, theres loads.
on my computer i use chrome but google have ****ed it up for OS X. they think they know better than apple with their gestures and decided they would interfere with apples perfect native gestures. then they dont even let your disable theirs :/
the problem is i can be typing away like now, then when im finished go over to my magic mouse and grab it as normal. then (sometimes) google decides thats a gesture to move back a page in the web browser, the result of this is loosing everything i typed when i go "back" forwards. its stupid. so yeah, i think im gonna go safari again.

No idea what you're talking about Chris. I have no issues like that with Chrome.

Still don't know what you're talking about. If I swipe up/right/down/left with 2 fingers, the page moves up/right/down/left. If I swipe left with 3 fingers, it goes to the previous page. Right with 3 fingers, it goes forward.
It works exactly the same way as it does in Safari. The only thing different about Chrome that I've noticed is it zooms like Snow Leopard. Instead of zooming into the page like iOS does (and now Safari with Lion), it just makes text bigger. But that's how it's always been.

I bought Mercury Pro and it doesn't seem heavy on my phone. Maybe it's better for the 4s, but that's just speculation. I like I a lot, it's fast and feels good so far.

Yeah all of these are initially better than safari, but for one reason or another I always end up back on safari again.

Safari's the most smooth, in my experience. Opera's good for bypassing bad filters, but sometimes it runs like shit for me. Cloud browse is nice if you want to use flash, it's basically a vnc server with only firefox installed. I used to use wiblaze because it's just kind of elegant, but then ios 5.0 screwed it up for me.

Cloud browse is the worst browser ever
