Hey, I think there should be a better premium membership upgrade feature list. As far as I know, all we get right now is a different name color and the satisfaction of donating to the forum. I have put some of my ideas in the poll! Also, any suggestions?

I don't like the idea of burdening regular members just to give donators something extra. What regular members can do, they should always be able to do. Including deleting their own threads.
Btw the special chars thing is impossible owning to database restrictions in the forum software.

Remember when I got the flipped E in my username? Probably not, but that didn't work.

i agree with the ads for regular members, that way logan can earn more money, not only from ads but from donations aswell. More money will result in a better forum because it provides motivation to make the forum better. As for the "premium board" this sort of thing has been floated around as several different ideas for a while and ive always supported it, so have the ways to implement it but we are yet to really hear a yes or no on it at all lol

Would people actually use a premium board? You'd be really restricted to who you could talk to and most topics would probably end up being moved to other threads unless it was purely like a donators GD.

Why would you need premium stuff I thought we were all about free idevice support. You'll lose traffic anyway

I don't like the idea of a premium membership as we would more and more evolve to an xsellize like forum.
Although a little button donations might be a good idea as I would be willing to donate some money.
Ads for regular users that are registered to the forum is for a designer a no go.
Visitors should have ads so maybe one can add one or 2 ads.

Ah, Is it the forum that enforces the character restriction then? Not the database?

For your information he has been working hard to keep the forum up!
It's nothing to do with him that the server won't run the two sites.
