The thing is the ipad form factor is achieved because apple designed it and gave the order to all the hardware manufactures which had to produce in this size. So their hardware is very unique.
We might have to go with the bigger option here if you want something with a bit power.

yer i realize that the ipad is an unrealistic size goal, but i think these modified laptops are far too big. if the whole thing was the same size as the bottom part (without lid) of a 13" macbook pro, i'll be happy.
