I was bored and wanted to make something with a zombie in it and eventually what you see below is what happened. It's very different from anything else I've made but I really like it. First one is 1280x1024 resolution and the second is 1920x1080.





And yes, it's supposed to look a little grainy.

I've got a few things I can change on it, but I'm not really supposed to be on my computer so I suppose it'll happen later. Mostly what I want to do is kinda fix the lamp and the light. The lamp's shadowing is kinda backwards, I noticed it after I looked at it this morning, so I'll just have to reverse that. As for the light, idk what I'll do, I'll figure out something. If anyone has any suggestions for anything I could do to it they'd be much appreciated.

that's cool looking, I didn't want to do anything with that silhouette style. Mine's sort of a silhouette but it's different. I wanted it to have more detail. First time I did this I made him solid white on a black background, didn't look that good, so I played around with shit and in a surprisingly short amount of time I made that new zombie. Another thing I remember I needed to fix was the ipod in his hand, I flipped it around so that the lamp and the lighting would match up and the ipod got a little messed up, I didn't catch that when I did it. I think I may also try to add a sidewalk in there, maybe a road, idk. I might just keep it with a solid black surrounding, it kinda makes you wonder what's around him.

yer it looks like it's been stencilled.

i think the lamp post should be further back, that way it'll give a greater sense of depth to the image. and the lighting should touch the "floor", maybe even add a semi circle to the small flat edge too?

I've got some ideas, I'll make the lamp a little smaller, maybe mess around with the perspective a bit, make the zombie a little bit smaller, fix the ipod, fix the shadowing/lighting, and do something with the light, extend it to the bottom, maybe do some other things, idk

well the lighting is off on the zombie... i think?
i think the zombie wants to me more under the lamp post, and slightly in front of it. but i like the placement you have, that's why its a shame.

hmmm I just got an idea, maybe instead of a lamp post, a house with light coming out of it? That'd be easier to match up with the shadowing on the zombie eh? I might go find a house and play around with shit and see what happens lol. Maybe even go as far as a dude with a rifle pointing at the zombie, idk about that though.

much better. i like the house. not the path thing that joins the house to the pavement though.

yea I'm not too fond of that walkway either, kinda seemed plain without it. Should I just leave that space empty?

id try just the zombie and the house with no floor at all.

if it looks really plain, maybe add a tree or the moon?

I was thinking about a tree or bush or something, I think I might add a moon, that seems more fitting with zombies.

The perspective on the trail is a bit... Off :\

And with the lamp try moving it forward so the light is on the zombie, for I'd it was behind it it's front would be in shadow :s
