Hello everyone, I want to announce that a new app called RepoFix will be available on modmyi real soon. It is a command line application that automatically removes all errors related to bad repositories. Unlike Cyfix were you have to look back and forward at the reload screen to identify which repos are causing trouble, RepoFix automatically detects and removes the Cydia errors for you. All it takes is to run the program once and then the errors will be gone. Your reload screen will be nice and clean. RepoFix is included with an optional prompt mode in case you are not quite sure if a certain repo is bad or just temporarily shut down. If you can't wait to try it, this app will be temporarily available at cydia.myrepospace.com/redelman431 until launch. Feel free to try it out and share your opinions. Requires grep, erica utilities, network-commands, apt 0.7 strict, and sed.Posted Image

If I were to use this I'd leave prompt mode on constant just in case. You never know when you'll get a random error that says none of your repos are available and find it deletes them all. Confirmation ftw :P

This program does not work unless a stable internet connection is detected. So if you don't have internet, it will not delete all your repos, it will just tell you to connect to the internet.

Thats what the prompt mode is for. It will ask for prompt mode every time you run it. For those who have lots of troublesome repos and don't want to go through every prompt, then thats what non-prompt mode is for.

At first I wanted to hear more peoples opinions before making modifications to the program. But since I heard another person from another forum say the same thing, I am going to change it to make prompt mode constant. Thanks for your input.

Once I gain more programming knowledge I may try that. But personally I don't think a GUI is necessary since using that program is pretty strait forward. But I will try making one anyways.

can you not just link your code to an action like a button press? I've been playing with xcode a little and this is something i wondered.

I announced prematurly. I decided not to put it on modmyi. But the repo it is on is cydia.myrepospace.com/redelman431 Make sure you spelled it properly. If it's not there still, go to terminal type su, type alpine and then type apt-get update and then wait for the messages to stop. Sometimes I make changes a lot of times to my private repo so refresh your sources if you don't get it.
