I dropped my iphone 4 and shattered the glass back plate. Does anyone know of a good company that makes cool replacements?

eBay has plenty. You could try starting from there.

Well I've seen a million different versions online. Buying phone accessories online scares me though. I'm afraid it's going to rattle or screw my reception over or not fit quite right, lol. That's the only reason I wanted a "good company."

i think you might be surprised with how good the metal backplates are. they do one with a beveled edge too, which makes the phone feel a little thinner and nicer to hold.

i don't know anyone in real life that managed to break their iphone back by simply dropping it.
i broke mine, but that took me throwing my phone out into the road, whilst i was riding a bike. I've dropped my iphone loads and it always survived with nothing more than really light scratching on the metal bit.

Who's smart idea was it to make the back out of glass anyway? Plastic would have done the job on it's own surely? Or even a metal finish!

It must feel like carrying around a glasshouse in your pocket owning an iPhone! D:

True i think sometimes the glass will break and get jab in my leg
