Hi everyone,

The quarter is about to end for me in my AP Computer Science class and I still have a few assignments left to do. I thought it would be easy to catch up but I'm getting stumped on these programs. Im sure someone here has taken computer science or knows java well. Look over what I need to do and help me out a bit! Thanks a billion in advance!

Instructions:

A certain country has had a constant growth rate of 2.9% per year over the past 10 years. If the current population is 236 million people in 1990, write a program that tells when the population will double and show the population for each year if the growth rate continues at a constant rate.

Sample Output:

Year Population (in millions)
1990 236
1991 242
1992 257
1993 264
.... and it continues to 2015 when the population hits over double at 482.

By the way it needs to be in the form of a loop somehow. If you can figure this problem out I would be ecstatic! Thanks!!!

If I wrote the program in php could you convert it into java?

Unfortunately I don't know any php :/ I know obj c and a tiny bit of java.
