i really hate to bump this thread, but i'm going to die if i don't fix this phone. can anybody help me, please?

Does tiny umbrella recognize it as being in DFU mode? If so try holding power and home together until Apple logo appears.

nope, tiny umbrella says their is no device connected.

Yep, this is not ordinary DFU. The screen will not turn on at all, even during a restore.
