I can't manage to find good paintbrushes. I am trying it without them, and for my striped fine lines, they come out going horizontal instead of vertical, how to fix this?

Meh.... I tried my best, it was worth a shot. I can only get better by practice.

As for the the vertical scan lines, the default ones are vertical. I have a seperate file. I uploaded it for someone else, link should be in this topic or my sig topic. Let me look.

GIMP is really the best alternative to Photoshop. And if you're already accustomed to Photoshop, get "GIMPshop".
