Guys sorry to ask that but my son came from school the other day bugging me to jailbreak his dsi, because his friend has a dsi that is jailbreak. i told him that was not possible but he insisted and told me that his friends mom did that.
So i asked him to bring the website that has it and he did brought me today blackrain.com(not blackra1n).
I went to this website and it was a search engine for blackrain.
So its his friend telling him the truth or its just bull.....?

you can buy cartridges that take memory cards for pirating games and running homebrew apps on the DS. it sounds like things have moved on a little since i have owned a DS, so your best off waiting for advice off of someone else.

there is no jailbreak as jailbreaking is just rooting it. There are flashcards that you can buy that will allow you to play homebrew games/apps and backps of games(pirated)
For a DSi they'll ahve to be updated for the 1.4.1 firmware which can be done on a DSi on 1.4/1.3 or a DS Lite. You may be able to find one that has been updated search for a R4i Gold or Acekard 2i on eBay. Or you could go for the BEST flashcard, Supercard DSTWOi which is amazing but is a little more expensive. Brand new $30-$40

It's just called a DSTWO, no i on the end, however, with an update, it works perfectly on my 3DS.

Jailbreaking doesn't get your to the free apps, it's supposed to allow you to customize your device.

I'm talking about the respond that iGhost made, I meant jailbreaking is mostly aimed at theming and tweaking but you can get free apps.

Go to http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/aboute.asp and buy the product. (Does not come with a SDHC card.) Plus it supports all DS.
